![]() ![]() This is a chonker of a roguelike RPG, in which long-held assumptions about how the genre ought to be designed are thrown away, while others are strictly obeyed. In a moment of high folly, perhaps hubris, Unexplored 2 has arrived to these lands to preach the benefits of novelty and moreish dungeon delving. Gather round the fire, rogue likers and roguelike likers. This problem doesnt exactly happen often, flying monsters seem rare so far, but I figured I'd mention it.Unexplored 2: The Wayfarer's Legacy reviewĪ deep and chunky world that sets itself apart from other roguelikes Eventually I brought them down but it was rather embarrassing for both sides for awhile until that happened. They dont seem to know what to do half the time. It mostly consists of me trying to stab random locations where I *think* the monster might be (because I have no idea if they're high up or low on the ground, so I just flail at them in the hope that they may be low enough to hit) and they spend most of their time sorta. I got into a fight with a couple of them, and couldnt leave the area with them still hanging around me, but. Like, I got into this one area with those bloodcloakers or whatever they're called, right. Provided I can get into the area at all, that is, sometimes they just go eternal from the moment I walk in and there's nothing to do but leave and go anywhere else.Īlso, flying enemies: They really dont work with this viewpoint. I've ended up having to use the warp function probably 3 times with these. ![]() I've had multiple times now where I'll get past some into an area, do whatever, but when it's time to go back. too often they'll just do it until the sun explodes. ![]() Firstly, those triple steam blaster things that constantly shoot, where you have to run by when they're not shooting, sounds great on paper, but. ![]()
